Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernández will sign for Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League, a source confirmed to ESPN.
ESPN reported earlier this month that defender Nacho, who is on international duty with Spain at Euro 2024, was in advanced talks with another Saudi team, Al Ittihad.
However, Al Qadsiah offered the 34-year-old centre-back a deal and, keen for his future to be resolved as soon as possible, he decided to accept, a source said.
Nacho has won a joint record 26 trophies with Madrid, after joining the club at the age of 11 and going through the academy.
His contract with Madrid expires at the end of this month and he had spent the last few weeks thinking about his future.
Nacho captained Madrid to a Champions League and LaLiga double this season, having almost left the club in the summer of 2023 before opting to stay.
The defender had a strong end to the season and was rewarded with a Spain call-up, starting their opening Euro 2024 win against Croatia last week, before missing their win over Italy on Thursday with a minor injury.
Nacho is one of five players (along with Madrid's Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Dani Carvajal and Paco Gento) to have won six European Cups.
He had previously been linked with a move to MLS but has now decided to move to Saudi Arabia.
Al Qadsiah gained promotion to the Saudi top flight last season and is coached by former Real Madrid player Michel González.
