RB Leipzig 3-3 Bayern (May 3, 2025) Game Analysis

Yussuf Poulen from RB Leipzig scored a goal of detention time to snatch a 3-3 draw against the leaders of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich, on Saturday and delay the capture of Harry Kane from a first race trophy.

In a roller mountain game, Bayern was 2-0 in part time before scoring two goals in two minutes to the level and taking an advantage of 83 minutes.

Poulen, however, hit seconds before the end to leave Bayern in 76 points, nine ahead of the Leverkusen champions, who travel to Friburg on Sunday.

The Bayern, with two games to play and a much better goals difference than Leverkusen, will secure his crown of the 34th League in case Leverkusen does not win.

Harry Kane's waiting for the first important trophy of his career will continue until at least Sunday.

The draw also kept Leipzig, fifth in 50 points, in the race for an end among the first four and a place in the next season champions.

It was supposed to be a triumphant afternoon for Bayern, but they found themselves on the back from the beginning with the hosts accumulating early pressure.

Leipzig had two great opportunities before Benjamin Sesko completed a fast rest by Xavi Simons with an excellently curly shot beyond goalkeeper Jonas Urbig in the 11th minute.

With the top scorer of the Bundesliga, Kane, desperate to ensure the first important title of his career, suspended and observing from the stands, visitors had no Toño in attack.

I was further worse for six minutes before the break when Lukas Klostermann easily beat his score to go in a free kick by David Raum and the advantage of Double Leipzig.

However, Bayern turned after the break, with Eric Dier in the corner of Michael Olise in the near post and Olise Rifling in the tie a minute later.

They thought they had done enough to secure the title when Leroy Sané hit seven minutes and Kane moved from the stands to see the last minutes from the side line, ready to celebrate with their teammates.

But Poulen spoiled the party, contributing the ball on Urbig for the draw. Bayern can win the title against a local crowd next week when they receive Borussia Mönchengladbach.
