Owings Mills, Md. – The Ravens kicker, Justin Tucker, is accused of sexual behavior inappropriate by six massage therapists in the Baltimore area, according to an investigation carried out by the Baltimore banner.
Tucker's behavior, according to an article published by El Banner on Thursday, made some therapists refuse to work with him again and resulted in two spas that prohibits him from returning. According to the reports, the accusations occurred between 2012 and 2016, which were the first five seasons of Tucker in the NFL.
Approximately an hour after the Banner article was published, Tucker described the “unequivocally false” accusations in a long response on social networks.
“Throughout my career as a professional athlete, I have always tried to drive with maximum professionalism,” Tucker published in X on Thursday. “They had never accused me of misconduct of any kind, and they have never accused me of acting in an inappropriate way in front of a massage therapist or during a massage therapy session or during another body work.”
In its publication, Tucker said that the article “takes harmless or ambiguous interactions and biases so out of proportion that they are no longer recognizable … This is a desperate sensationalist fodifier.”
Tucker could be subject to discipline under NFL's personal behavior policy.
“First we realized the accusations of the journalist who investigates this story, since they were not previously shared with the NFL,” said the league spokesman Brian McCarthy. “We take any accusation seriously and analyze the matter.”
The Ravens issued a statement by saying: “We take the accusations of this nature seriously and continue monitoring the situation.”
Tucker's lawyers denied accusations of inappropriate behavior, telling the banner that it is speculative and “impossible to prove.” His lawyers also said that Tucker has never been expelled from the two spas.
The banner said he began his investigation after receiving a tip on January 9. Six massage therapists contacted by the Banner claim that Tucker exhibited his genitals, brushed two of them with his exposed penis and left what they thought he was ejaculated at the massage table. After three of his treatments.
“Support a process that allows the claims to properly investigate,” Tucker said in his publication. “But, for the sake of me and my family, I cannot allow these false statements not to be questioned. I cannot be clearer. These accusations are false and incredibly harmful to me and, more importantly, my family” .
Tucker, 35, is the most precise kicker in the history of the NFL, which converts 89.1% of its field goal attempts. He is the oldest player of the Ravens who was part of the team's Super Bowl championship team in 2012.
