Prepare yourselves: we're in for a wild ending in Valhalla.

After a wild third round filled with low scores, some of which even tied gold records, two men are tied for the lead, with another 13 within five strokes of the lead in the PGA Championship.

Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa, the co-leaders at -15, will tee off at 2:35 p.m. Schauffele is vying for his first major victory (he won Olympic gold in Tokyo in 2021).

Morikawa won the 2020 PGA Championship and the 2021 Open Championship.

Schauffele is in this position because of his record of 62 in the first round. He tied the lowest round of all time (a record he already shared) and the lowest score at par at nine under par.

However, Shane Lowry matched that on Saturday with his 62 in the third round. He had left more than 90 minutes before the last group, eight strokes back, but he entered the clubhouse with just one stroke. Lowry (-13) will play Sahith Theegala (-14) at 2:25 p.m.

Bryson DeChambeau is LIV's only hope of winning this, but he has plenty of momentum thanks to an eagle on the 18th to move to 13 under. He will be alongside Viktor Hovland, the defending FedEx Cup champion, who is also -13.

But Justin Rose, winner of the 2013 US Open, shot a 64 on Saturday, the second-lowest score of the entire tournament behind the even-par 62. He and Robert McIntyre are T7 at -12.

However, it was just two years ago when Justin Thomas overcame a six-stroke deficit in the final round to win his second PGA Championship: he is five back, as is Tony Finau.

Other notables who are within striking distance are Rory McIlroy, Hideki Matusyama, Tom Kim and Jordan Spieth (who would earn his career Slam with a win), all at -8.

Scottie Scheffler admitted he was “pretty nervous” after his arrest on Friday and even some holes in his second round, although his 66 didn't look like that was the case. Saturday wasn't easy, however, as he took two overs in the round and is seven under par for the tournament.
