Organizers of the Paris Olympics decided to bring intimacy back to the Summer Games with the coronavirus pandemic seemingly in the rearview mirror.
The Olympic Village is scheduled to host around 9,000 athletes for the event, which will take place from July 26 to August 11. In addition, organizers will provide around 300,000 condoms as athletes will be encouraged to interact socially with each other again after strict rules. at the Tokyo Games, according to Sky News.

“It is very important that coexistence here is something big,” Olympic Village director Laurent Michaud told Sky News. “Working with the athletes' commission, we wanted to create some places where athletes felt very excited and comfortable.”
One thing that is not on the town menu during the two weeks of the Games is champagne.
Laurent said there would obviously be champagne available in Paris, but Olympic athletes living in the Villa would not be able to see the specialty.

“We will have over 350 meters (382 yards) of buffet with world food… and I'm sure the athletes will be very happy to have some French specialties prepared here,” he told Sky News.
“But the variety will first respond to athletes' needs for nutrition and performance.”
The Tokyo Games were moved from 2020 to 2021 due to the pandemic. Condoms were given to athletes, but only for awareness purposes.
