MLB Players' Weekend is here and Jackson Merrill already seems to be the clear winner.
The San Diego Padres' rookie center fielder will debut a Star Wars-themed lightsaber-shaped bat this weekend. The Victus bat has a handle reminiscent of the iconic sci-fi weapon, and everything beyond the handle glows in the dark.

Players' Weekend kicks off on Friday and will be split into three segments. Friday will be a day of fun, where players can show off their personalities; Saturday will be a day of causes, where players will highlight their favorite charities; and Sunday will be a day of gratitude, where players will pay tribute to the people who helped them get to where they are.
Merrill is having a standout rookie season for the Padres, posting a 3.1 bWAR and hitting 17 home runs.
