Algerian boxer Imane Khelif defeated Hungarian Anna Luca Hamori in a 66-kilogram Olympic boxing match on Saturday by unanimous decision.

Khelif, one of two boxers who previously failed a gender test, will advance to the semi-finals and face Thailand's Janjaem Suwannapheng.

Khelif is now guaranteed a medal, as two bronzes will be awarded to the two losing Olympic semi-finalists.
