Ohio State won three national championships in four days

On Monday, the Ohio State Buckeyes took home the title of the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff, defeating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 34-23. Their cheer and dance teams went crazy on the sideline…but they both had an extra reason to celebrate.

The Ohio State cheer team took first place in the D1A Spirit Program game day division at the Universal Cheerleading Association Nationals on Friday. It is the second consecutive title for the OSU cheerleaders in that division.

Then on Sunday, the Ohio State dance team won first at the Universal Dance Association Nationals, in the DIA Jazz category.

Both teams were there to cheer on the football team that won in Atlanta, a fitting end to a pretty good couple of days for Ohio State athletics.
