That, according to ESPN Research, is a Duke record for the first two games of an NCAA tournament, surpassing the 12 of Bobby Hurley in 1993. The most impressive thing is that, until the end of the ACC Tournament, Proctor was not a force from beyond the arch. In the regular season, he fired 40% from Deep, and then in the first two games of the ACC tournament, the 10 attempts were lost.
