Colombian striker Luis Muriel has confirmed that he will leave Italian club Atalanta to join Orlando City.
Muriel, whose contract with Atalanta was set to expire on June 30, will play in MLS this season.
The former Sevilla and Udinese star left Italy to travel to the United States on Monday before moving to Orlando City.
Before his departure, he posted a video message on Instagram saying goodbye to Atalanta fans.
He said: “I wanted to thank you very much for the four and a half wonderful years I lived in Bergamo…
“Bergamo will always remain in my heart, like a second home.
“Thank you for all the loving messages these days, I hope you will also follow me with sympathy in my new adventure in Orlando.”
Muriel, 32, scored 68 goals in 184 games for Atalanta, a club he joined from Sevilla in the summer of 2019.
In Orlando City, Muriel will work with fellow Colombian Oscar Pareja.
