There was a scary moment at Clemson Saturday night when a player was stretchered off the bench and sent to the hospital.
Louisville defensive back Benjamin Perry was injured against the Tigers and was later sent to an ambulance.
The details of the injury are unknown, but Perry spent several minutes lying on the grass, with coaches Jeff Brohm and Dabo Swinney checking on him.

Trainers initially helped Perry off the field and stabilized him with a neck brace. But shortly after reaching the bench, he was carried on a stretcher into the bowels of the stadium and sent by ambulance to the hospital.
Perry was “alert and talking” as he left the stadium, and even had a chance to talk on the phone with his mother, who was not at the game.
