There is a new champion in the UFC. Khamzat Chimaev remained undefeated when performing an almost perfect performance to remove the medium weight belt of Dricus du Plessis (23-2) in Chicago at UFC 319 on Saturday. Chimaev, the medium weight No. 2 of ESPN, landed 12 demolition, the second more in a medium weight fight of UFC and tied in third place in a fight for the title since 2015. It was the first loss of the UFC race of Du Plessis.
Before DDP and Chimaev entered the cage, fans were delighted with the first -round -ease knockouts consecutive for the undefeated Lerone Murphy and Carlos Presates against Aaron Pico and Geoff Neal, respectively. It is the first time in the history of UFC that there have been two elbow victories on the same card.
