Liverpool suffered three injuries in Saturday's 4-1 win at Brentford, with Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota facing potentially major injuries, while striker Darwin Nunez was substituted with a “small” problem at half-time.
The victory began with an audacious finish from Núñez in the first half, with further goals from Alexis Mac Allister and substitutes Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo.

The victory cements their place at the top of the Premier League for at least the rest of the weekend. However, Jurgen Klopp's side must now do without key players Jones and Jota, while Nunez's problem is still unknown.
“We have to see how much it costs us; we don't know that yet,” Klopp said in a post-match press conference.
“Curtis took a hit on the lower part of the shin or above the ankle. We'll see what it means. That's what he felt, but he wasn't 100% sure. That Curtis can't continue playing tells you that it must be something because he would have continued playing at all costs.
“Diogo probably looks the worst; I didn't see him but I heard the photos didn't look very good either, so we have to see him there.
“Darwin we left because he says he feels a bit — a bit [issue] — and that was enough to hit the brakes immediately and that's what we did, so we took him out and brought in Cody. [Gakpo] which worked very well.”
Klopp confirmed that Jones was on crutches after the match. They join an injury list that already included Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic, Ben Doak, Joël Matip, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alisson.
“Mixed emotions because we lost players and we don't know how serious it is. It doesn't look very good for either of us. [Jones and Jota]”Klopp added.
Saturday marked the return of Mohamed Salah, who suffered a hamstring injury last month while playing in the African Cup of Nations with Egypt.
