Jets' Breece Hall involved in incident with apparent autograph seeker at airport: 'Not the time or place'

New York Jets running back Breece Hall was at Newark Airport over the weekend when an apparent autograph seeker appeared to bother the NFL player while he was removing his bag from baggage claim.

Video obtained by TMZ Sports showed the man trying to get an autograph. He can be heard telling Hall's group: “If you're going to slap me, slap me.”

New York Giants legend Carl Banks appeared to step between the man and the Jets running back.

The man then walked away without further incident.

On Monday, Hall addressed the situation at X.

“If you know me, you know I always show love!!! There is a time and place for everything but harassing me at baggage claim is not the time or place,” she wrote.

“Luckily Carl and my boy Joe were there to stop anything from happening.”

Hall recovered in 2023 after suffering a season-ending injury in his rookie year. He played in all 17 games for the Jets, racking up 994 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. He also had 76 receptions for 591 yards and four touchdowns, showing how valuable he is to the offense.

While the Jets had a tough season, Hall was one of the few bright spots that shined.

Hall will enter his third season in New York. The Jets finished 7-10 in 2023.
