After the NFL owners approved players to play flag football at the Los Angeles Summer Games in 2028 earlier this month, players and fans have been dreaming of the possible team that the United States could have.

However, the field marshal of the National Football Team of the United States Flag, Darrell Doucette III, has been firm in his belief that flag soccer players should not be left aside just because NFL players can now participate.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce, proposed an idea that would help determine which players, flag soccer or NFL, would represent the US team. UU. In the Olympic Games.

“Let's make these boys (flag soccer) play a NFL team that is selected and that the best team wins and represents the United States,” Kelce said during a recent “New Height” episode.

“I think a coach who is familiar with flag football should select a team represented by the NFL. That team should play this flag soccer team that has been playing for a long time and feels that they are the best, and do not need other boys. Then, whoever wins (goes to the Olympic Games).”

The closed wing star of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, wondered if Doucette is “fear” of the NFL competition.

“Is this guy afraid of competition?” Travis said.

“Test and the best players do the team. Did you just box other people to join the sport because they have not played the specific style of football?”

The United States, led by Doucette, sat at the top of the World Football Ranking of the Flag last year. Regardless of its classification, Jason is “really sure” that NFL players would be better.

“If these boys are the best, they should represent (team) USA.”, Said Jason. “I don't know anything about flag football, but I really feel sure they are not the best.”
