Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce sparked a social media frenzy on Saturday with a statement about hygiene etiquette and washing your legs and feet in the shower.
Initially, the recently retired Super Bowl champion was responding to a social media snub about his appearance, and it all took off from there.
One X commenter wrote that it seemed like Kelce “doesn't wash his legs or feet.”

“What kind of weirdo washes his feet?” Kelce replied.
Kelce's post alone attracted 5.2 million views on the social media platform. She leaned into drama later, rejecting “diabolical lies.”
“You have all been fed diabolical lies that washing every crevice of your body and hair, all the time, is somehow better or healthier,” Kelce wrote. “Any dermatologist who isn't in bed with Big Soap will agree! Hot spots are all it takes and actually leads to clearer, healthier skin.”

Kelce is not the first former NFL player to spark debate over shower protocol.
Dan Orlovsky, former Detroit Lions quarterback and current ESPN NFL analyst, wondered in March 2023 how many times a shower towel is washed.
After that, the takes came pouring in.

Hopefully, Kelce was having a nice and relaxing weekend. He and his wife, Kylie, were involved in a heated incident in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, last week. Since then, cooler heads have apparently prevailed.
