SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Jake Paul put on a pre-show show for several hundred people at Friday night's weigh-in.

Paul will face his more experienced opponent, Ryan Bourland, in Puerto Rico on Saturday night.

Nicknamed “The Rhino,” Bourland is a former Golden Gloves champion with 19 professional fights under his belt.

Bourland has a professional record of 17-2.

Paul has made Puerto Rico his home in recent years, crediting the island for his success in boxing and saying he has been able to train more diligently and concentrate more easily.

But he didn't exactly have much of an advantage in the home ring in San Juan's T-Mobile District.

Many Rhino fans were in the crowd, some chanting “F— Jake Paul” when he took the stage.

Then Paul, a master troll, goaded them in response. When journalist Ariel Helwani asked him about his emotions, he sang his response.

“F— the Rhino,” he sang several times.

Bourland supporters responded with a chant of “F—- Jake Paul.”

But Paul had the last word.

“I'm sick of these stupid rhinos walking around this damn island. Tomorrow, the rhinos will be extinct. I promise you.”

At Thursday's press conference, Paul even joked about the nickname, saying Bourland didn't “embody the true spirit of the rhino” after Bourland said he's not vegan.

At that point, Helwani asked Bourland if he felt like Paul respected him.

“It doesn't matter,” Bourland replied.

Paul is coming off a fight that didn't last a single round. On December 15, he knocked out Andre August and said goodbye to him on the canvas. That fight improved his professional record to 8-1.
