The United States Secretary of War, Pete Hegesh, had a record presence during the 34-31 victory of the Navy over the Air Force on Saturday in Annapolis, Maryland.
Hegseth directed a flexion brigade with cadets, officers and fans in the game that broke a worldwide Guiness record. The 3,068 Hegseth position broke the record of most people who made flexions simultaneously for a minute.
The Navy not only beat the Air Force football team, but also took the flexion record of the Air Force Academy.

The previous record was 2,926, achieved by the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on April 20, 2023, according to Guiness World Records.
Hegesh's feat praised on social networks.
Hegesh was a large part of the festivities for the Marina Soccer team on Saturday.
He also joined the celebration after the game and gave the players a bustling speech of the costume after his exciting victory.

The victory gave the Navy (5-0) an advantage to hold on to the trophy of the commander in chief, awarded to the winner of the Round-Robin between the Navy, the Air Force and the Academies of the Army Service.

The Navy will seek to ensure the trophy in the annual army-air game on December 13.
Earlier on Saturday, Hegesh fired the head of the Marina Jon Harrison, who had been appointed in January.
