Grizzlies-Warriors fight involving Draymond Green sends coach Taylor Jenkins to the ground

Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins was on the receiving end of a tense moment between warriors of the golden state Memphis Grizzles forward Draymond Green and Memphis Grizzles guard Desmond Bane during Wednesday night's game that resulted in both players receiving a technical.

At the end of the second quarter, with brown bears Leading by one, Green tangled under the net with Santi Aldama. Green appeared to push Aldama after he hit him following an offensive rebound.

The intensity continued after Jenkins spoke to an official on the court.

Bane apparently didn't appreciate how close Green was to his trainer and a shoving match ensued. Several players from both teams became involved and the escalating fight caused Jenkins to fall to the ground.

“I didn't really think there was a sequence,” Green said of the incident after the game. “They grabbed me and snatched my arm, and gave me a [technical]”.

After Green and Bane received technical fouls, the Warriors scored 17 unanswered points.

“That woke up our team and we went from there. We never looked back,” Green added. “Yell at them, maybe they were trying to kick me out of the game or something. It didn't work. In fact, it worked against them.”

Jenkins praised his team's fire when asked about the interaction during his post-match press conference.

“I just love the fight of our group and we hope to bounce back on Friday.”

warrior trainer Steve Kerr apparently agree.

“We have a history with this team and it's always been very competitive,” Kerr said. “They're tough. When we play against them there's usually some kind of controversy.”

The Warriors took control in the second half to beat the Grizzlies 137-116. Stephen Curry He also reached 300 three-pointers for an NBA-record fifth season and scored 14 points with four three-pointers.
