The confrontations for the third annual ACC/SEC challenge were announced on Wednesday, highlighted on the male side when receiving the national champions of Duke Florida and multiple potential confrontations of the 10 best on the female side.
The two leagues divided the first series on both the male and women, while the SRI swept the two last year. The SEC assured the male title after winning the first nine games of the 2024 ACC/SEC challenge.
The male event will take place on December 2 and December 3, with Florida's trip to Duke and a blue -blooded confrontation between North Carolina and Kentucky, highlighting the first night. The headline on December 3 is a possible confrontation among the 10 best between Louisville and Arkansas, while NC State and the new chief coach will also travel to Auburn that night.
Florida (No. 2), Louisville (No. 7), Kentucky (No. 9), Arkansas (No. 11), Duke (No. 12), Auburn (No. 14), NC State (No. 24) and North Carolina (No. 25) are included in the most recent more recent ESPN classifications.
Other notable confrontations include a battle of coaches in chief first year when Ryan Odom and Virginia travel to face Sean Miller and Texas on December 3 and No. 17 Alabama that welcomed Clemson in a rematch of the 2024 Elite Eight game that gave Crimson Tide his first appearance in Fur Four.
The women's event is scheduled for December 3 and December 4, with multiple games between teams classified in the top 10 of the Top 25 ESPN. The SEC and ACC have nine combined teams classified within Top 11.
December 3 is headed by No. 9 NC State that travels to No. 6 Oklahoma, while December 4 is loaded with high -level clashes.
The national runner -up and the number 1 of South Carolina travels to the No. 17 Louisville and there are 10 games with the No. 5 LSU that is addressed to No. 8 Duke and No. 4 of Texas, the North Carolina No. 10. No. 18 Notre Dame also plays at number 14 Ole Miss.
Television times and designations have not yet been announced. Both events for men and feminine will be televised in ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network and Sec Network.
