Deion Sanders and the rest of the Colorado Buffaloes were in the middle of a social media feud last week when the head coach faced criticism for handling his roster overhaul.
Sanders wrote on 4-8. Sanders said Shedeur will be in the top five of the draft and wondered where the fan's son was going.

Coach Prime then explained his comments.
“I have to do better and not move on, but I was bored,” he said on “Thee Pregame Show.” “I was bored and I didn't say anything hurtful. I don't attack people.”
Sanders also weighed in when Austin Peay defensive back Jaheim Ward got into a fight with Colorado's Kaleb Mathis. An X user then posted Ward's stats with the governors and added, “Man, have a seat.” This prompted a comment from the head coach: “Lawd Jesus.”

USA Today noted that Sanders also explained that comment.
“I try my best to abstain, but when you posted similar statistics, I was like, 'Lawd Jesus,' like I was really going at him, like I was really shooting him,” Sanders said on the podcast. “That's really what I meant, and I think it was taken wrong. I think it was taken sideways or something.”
The war of words definitely didn't shine the show in the most positive light.

It may also have hurt Shedeur Sanders' draft chances, at least for the time being.
