Colorado's Sheduer Sanders makes a rare interception against North Dakota State

Colorado Buffaloes' Shedeur Sanders is one of the best quarterbacks in college football, and while trying to avoid an upset against North Dakota State, he committed one of the most bizarre turnovers.

Sanders led the Buffaloes back from halftime when they were down by three points. He led the team on a seven-play, 70-yard drive and got the team to the Bison 5-yard line.

On third down, Sanders threw the ball to his left and at first looked like he was just trying to throw it low to the ground. However, the ball bounced off the leg of a Bison defender and into the arms of linebacker Nick Kubitz.

You have to see the work to believe it.

Kubitz is a senior from Dubuque, Iowa. He had one interception in his college career before Thursday night. It occurred during the 2022 season.

Colorado eventually won the game, 31-26.

North Dakota State was looking for an upset win against Colorado. The Bison play in the Football Championship Subdivision, formerly known as NCAA Division 1-AA.

While Colorado has plenty of NFL-ready prospects, the Bisons have seen Carson Wentz, Trey Lance and Easton Stick among the quarterbacks who have landed on NFL teams in recent years.

The last time the Bison defeated an FBS school was in 2016 against Iowa. They only lost by three points to Arizona in 2022.

Last year, North Dakota State lost in the FCS playoff semifinals to Montana.
