Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has backed manager Mauricio Pochettino amid speculation over his future, saying he is impressed by the team's recovery and their “beautiful football”.
Chelsea followed up their 2-0 win over Tottenham last Thursday with a convincing 5-0 win over West Ham on Sunday to stay in contention for European football next season.

– Why are Chelsea keeping Pochettino in limbo about his future?
Pochettino said after West Ham's victory that his team had taken a “big step” in their development and Boehly agreed in comments made at a Sportico conference reported by The Athletic.
“We have seen the last two and a half games, at least in the second half at Aston Villa. [2-2 draw] and Tottenham and West Ham, where we played fantastic football,” Boehly said.
“It was so fluid, it was exactly the way we designed it, when we came out from behind, built and moved up the field, [it was] very organized and the amount of shots we had on board. In those two and a half games, you could really start to see what we were working on together.
“Even the comments have changed in the last two and a half games. I've never seen anything change so quickly.”
Boehly was not explicitly asked about Pochettino, whose future at the club has been in doubt. The Argentine coach, who signed a two-year contract last summer with an option to join the club for another year, recently told reporters that he was not the person to ask about his future and called for an end to the “stupid rumors.”
“You have to ask the club if they want me to continue or not,” he said.
Chelsea endured a difficult first half of the season but have lost just one of their last 12 Premier League games and are seventh in the standings, two points behind Newcastle United with three games left in the domestic season.
Pochettino led Chelsea to the League Cup final in February, which they lost 1-0 in extra time to Liverpool, and also to the FA Cup semi-finals last month, where Manchester City beat them 1-0 .
