Around 15 Los Angeles Chargers The players and staff members were rescued by first responders in Dallas on Friday night after the group became trapped in an elevator the night before their final preseason game of the season against the Cowboys.
The team released a statement confirming the incident on social media and thanking Dallas Fire and Rescue for his “quick response”.

“At approximately 7:30 p.m. Central Time on Friday evening, several Chargers players and traveling party members became stranded in a non-functioning elevator at the team hotel. Dallas Fire Department personnel responded to the incident and subsequently assisted everyone out of the elevator, one by one, through the ceiling panel and into an adjacent elevator.”
The statement continued: “The Los Angeles Chargers thank the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department for their quick response, professionalism and substantial efforts to ensure the safety of everyone.”

According For WFAA, 15 people were trapped in the elevator at The Westin hotel in downtown Dallas. Authorities told the outlet that the elevator got stuck in a “blind shaft” somewhere between the third and fifteenth floors.
No injuries were reported and the charges did not identify anyone involved in the incident.
