CBB Recruitment Update: Ranking the Top 25 Male Players Regardless of Class

The NBA draft was the highlight of June, and once again the ESPN 100 rankings fueled the draft. Of the 58 picks, 25 had been ranked in the ESPN 100 (43%), the remainder having been unranked high school players or international players.

As we update our summer rankings for 2025, 2026, and 2027, we are releasing our “Top 25 No Matter the Class” ranking. This follows the spring judging period for film studies, live events, and camps.

The overall ranking is based on our current player rankings. We evaluate performance, future potential, physical parameters, productivity, current age, and information on character traits. We also take into account professional and college potential, as well as how each player influences winning.

This is not a draft board or a ranking of high schools only. Our goal is also to predict who might make a move during the July term. This is a list with a lot to discuss and will remain in flux until we update it again in August.
