Arizona Cardinals Security spokeswoman Budda Baker is encouraging voters to do their “research” after being stunned by MSNBC host Joy Reid’s suggestion that President Joe Biden’s recovery from COVID-19 is a “sign of strength” akin to former President Donald Trump’s survival of an assassination attempt.
He Six-time Pro Bowler shared the clip on social media on Wednesday, adding that it “takes the cake.”
“Well, this is the last one for today. Please do your research this year. Don't let anyone derail you, do your own research and make up your own mind,” he wrote in a post on X.

“This one here takes the cake. A man who was almost killed by… [a] A bullet for a man who gets Covid. Sir, please, no World War III.”
During MSNBC's live coverage At a news conference at the Republican National Convention, Reid appeared to compare the attempted assassination of Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, over the weekend to the recent news that Biden had contracted COVID-19.
Reid said that just as the media is presenting Trump's return to the campaign trail as a “sign of strength,” the same should be said for Biden once he returns from isolation.

“The current president of the United States is 81 years old and has COVID. If he recovers in a couple of days, isn't that exactly the same thing that he transmits? He's strong enough, older than Trump, to have contracted something that used to be really fatal for people his age. So if he recovers well and comes back and can do rallies, isn't that exactly the same thing?” Reid said.
Baker, 28, apparently received a negative response to her opinion, but reaffirmed her stance in another post on X.
“I'm angry because I don't agree that COVID-19 and getting shot are the same thing. We live in a crazy world. The beauty of America is that you have the right to your own opinion. Keep it up.”

One person died and two others were injured when Thomas Matthew Crooks, The man, who was later identified as the shooter, opened fire less than 10 minutes after Trump began speaking on Saturday. The former president was shot in the ear and the shooter was shot dead.
Trump appeared at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this week. He is expected to deliver a speech Thursday night in which he is expected to formally accept the GOP presidential nomination.
