Todd Monken only needed 20 more minutes.
On Monday, the Cleveland Browns head coach was one of two coaches missing from the annual NFL coaches photo. While Monken missed the group photo, which supposedly features all 32 head coaches, it seemed to be for a good reason.
According to ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi, the photo was taken immediately after a coaches meeting, which Monken skipped to receive a new cut for the group photo, which was scheduled to be taken at noon.
The meeting reportedly adjourned early.
As Monken headed toward the photo location, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Cohen stopped to inform him that the photo had already been taken 20 minutes before the game.
Monken was not alone, however. Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay also did not appear in the photo.
The former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator was hired by the Browns franchise in January to a five-year contract as its 11th head coach since returning to the NFL in 1999. He replaced Kevin Stefanski, who was fired on Jan. 5 after six seasons in Cleveland.
