Bronny James says winner of 1-on-1 game with father LeBron James is still 'to be determined'

Bronny James has been one of the most talked about prospects at this year's NBA Scouting Combine.

James met with the media at the combine and answered a quick round of questions. One of the questions asked a hypothetical one-on-one with an NBA player.

“If you could challenge any NBA player to one-on-one, who would it be and why?” the journalist asked.

“LeBron James, because I haven't played him one-on-one in a minute,” Bronny responded.

Lebron James He had previously shared his hope of playing in the NBA alongside his son, but after the Los Angeles Lakers' elimination in the first round of the playoffs, he said he “hadn't thought much lately” about that wish.

“My dream has always been to get my name out there, make a name for myself and of course make it to the NBA,” Bronny James said Tuesday. “I never thought about playing with my dad. But, of course, he brought it up a couple of times.

“This is a serious matter. I don't feel like there's a thought of 'I'm drafting this kid just because I'm going to get his dad.' I don't think a GM would really allow that. I think I've put in the work and I'll be drafted not only for the player but for the person I am.
