Acade Lewis, the main shipowner available in class 2025, told ESPN that he has committed to Villanova.
“The staff in which I finally had the greatest confidence was Nova,” Lewis told ESPN on Thursday. “We built a relationship since my second year, when I first transferred to Sidwell. Kevin Willard and his staff were among the first high -old coaches to recruit me in Maryland. I have built a great relationship with them and I have immense confidence in that I will prosper and let me be me.”
Lewis chose Villanova after visiting St. John's, Georgia and Miami. He was previously committed to Kentucky before choosing to reopen his recruitment on April 10.
“I want to play, and I want the pressure on me and the shoulders of my teammates to navigate and intensify a challenge,” Lewis said. “Nova is a historical program based on winning, and I want to be part of the revival.”
The Washington DC Gatorade DC year in 2024, the Sidwell Friends school product is the ESPN number 7 shipowner in the 2025 high school class. Lewis is a great addition to Villanova in a significant position.
