Why cut a program designed to mitigate our own fossil fuel damage?

To the editor: Where to start with the cuts of the Environmental Protection Agency to the ROOFTOP Solar Subsidies Program (“The EPA eliminates the scourge solar grants program of $ 7 billion.” August 7)? Let's start here: “Trump, who received record donations of fossil fuel companies … is making a series of efforts to delay the transition to clean energy and encourage the use of fossil fuels.” Fossil fuels are the compacted remains of plants and animals hundreds of millions of years that have suffered heat transformation, pressure, chemical reactions and time. Industrial societies have been burning quickly in the past Two centuriesincreasing carbon in the atmosphere of the Earth with devastating effects throughout the country and throughout the world. Oil, coal and gas burning is a dying industry, and there are currently new technologies to make the transition to a cleaner future.

Where to finish? I suppose that destroying a program designed to help reduce our carbon production, support low -income families and create tens of thousands of jobs. I wonder why I don't feel very good with this plan.
