Trump wants the citizenship test to be more difficult. Why don't you take it?

To the editor: Then, the commander in chief wants to make the civic test more difficult (“Trump's administration moves to make US citizens more difficult with the revised civic test.” September 18). Brilliant. I am sure that people who compete for a place in our great nation will really read the requirements, study for the test and do it well. They will do this because they came to this country to share the freedoms and responsibilities written in the Constitution. They mind becoming citizens.

But I am not so sure about President Trump or his administration. They seem to consider the constitution and laws approved by Congress, simply as inconvenient guidelines. Put pressure About organizations about their employees who exercise their rights of freedom of expression? That's ok. Ignore The separation of the Church and the State? Easy. Who cares?

Therefore, I propose that Trump and his cronies should have to take the new civic test. If they fail, I think they should be torn from the White House until they learn what the United States and Americans represent and believe.

To the editor: After reading this article, I just had to express my alarm to Trump moving to do a new naturalization test and a process on aspiring citizens. How about going to anyone who obtains a score in or higher than what Trump gets in the same test? And don't make me start with the “moral character” requirements.
