To the editor: As a devoted reader of the Times letters page, I wish to nominate reader Andrea Ehrgott of Topanga for the LA Times Letter Writers Hall of Fame. If such a hall does not currently exist, I propose that one be created immediately and that Ehrgott be named its inaugural member. (“Dear Donald Trump: You’re Right About Us Immigrants. We Will Reduce Rapes and Murders,” letters, Sept. 12)
After all the TV pundits, opinion writers and editorial boards have pontificated on the importance of ensuring former President Trump is never again allowed within miles of the Oval Office (all of which I wholeheartedly applaud and support), this Topanga reader captured the day in a brief letter.
