To the editor: Thank you, the columnist Jackie Calmes, for her cunning representation of the current situation in the Supreme Court of our nation (“The deference of the Supreme Court towards Trump is amazing”, June 26). Perhaps it is time to send a word of caution to the majority voice. Remembering the history of the mid-century, particularly in Europe, one could point out that judicial activities occur in Nuremberg, Germany, in 1945-46. Not only war perpetrators were in trial; Those of the Judiciary were also.
