To the editor: Brian Weaver, executive director of the Food Bank of Southern California, states that the Tesla that bought with the money of the Food Bank was for work instead of personal use (“The leaders of the Food Bank of California spent millions on cars, Las Vegas trips, renewals at home, the demand says”, April 8). None of my experience with non -profit organizations, whether paid, voluntary or academic, would provide a good excuse for a non -profit group to buy any luxury car brand.
