to the editor: While I would prefer to see the shoe on the other foot, I wanted to offer my sincere thanks to Dodger fans. I just saw reports that they have contributed over $75,000 to SickKids Hospital in Toronto (“How Dodgers fans turned a series win into $75,000 for the Blue Jays' hometown children's hospital,” November 8). It's a graceful move that we all appreciate. What's more, it could benefit Angelenos, as SickKids is a world leader in research into childhood diseases.
As for the Blue Jays vs. the Dodgers, I hope to see them in the World Series next year!
