Letters to the editor: Diversity is what makes the United States special. Let's not abandon that

To the editor: There is so much opposition to diversity, equity and inclusion in today's society that makes me wonder about the objectives of those who are fighting the battle against them (“What Congress needs to know about Dei [but doesn’t want to hear]” July 8).

This is a diverse nation. It seems unlikely that all legislation and expulsions government agencies can design that. As for equity and inclusion, I would appreciate the clarification about which of us that we are legally and productively do not deserve to be the same and included.

On a related topic, the use of the phrase “make the United States great Again”Indicates that it eleven was and is not anymore, and that we shooting identify when it was and aspirate toward that society. But when was that? My African American Friends Would not aggregate that it was better in the '50s Time When Several of My ancestors from Germany Sought To Our Nation to Escape Ovens in Concentration Camps.

Our strength is that we are the most inclusive, diverse, cozy and fair country in the world. Let's not abandon what makes us special.
