'Happy Gilmore 2' A Paragion of Family Securities? Right

To the editor: In her criticism studied by the new Adam Sandler movie, the collaborating writer Josh Hammer recommends “Happy Gilmore 2” to those who appreciate family values, apparently, those such as strong language, raw and sexual material and partial nudity (“Happy Gilmore, icon of conservative family values”, August 1)

I also love his support for nepotism as a commitment to the family, evidence for the launch of Sandler's wife and children in minor roles. He suggests that this is a way of “doing the right thing for the next generation” (the son -in -law of President Trump, Jared, Kushner, is not lasting peace in the Middle East).

But the biggest howl of this piece is his reminder that a well -lived life does not “exalt to be.” Hammer brands that as a “traditional conservative message”, although I suppose that does not apply to possible new homonym of the Kennedy center for the performing arts?
