Family lines are pleasant, but John Wayne airport has a greater concern

To the editor: It is good that John Wayne's airport is adding family lanes to TSA control points, but what he really needs is more bathrooms (“The family lines of TSA are launched around the United States, even in this popular socal airport,” August 5). Almost any other important airport in the country has bathrooms a short distance from each door. But not John Wayne, maybe one or two in each terminal, and depending on the door of which he is taking or landing, it could be a very long walk to the bathroom.

As a frequent business and leisure traveler inside and outside SNA, every time I hear John Wayne qualified as one of the best small airports in the country, I can't help thinking about the lack of bathrooms. Those who vote for these superlatives should not use SNA with sufficient frequency to recognize deficiency. The lack of enough baths must overcome all the other good things about it.
