To the editor: This story (“Can you decide on the gondola of the Dodger stadium, or anything, in a timely manner?” August 19) was another example of our local government frustratingly inefficient. I couldn't believe what I was reading. If our leaders cannot even fix the basic infrastructure (broken sidewalks, lamppost repairs) in a timely manner, what hope is there for bigger problems such as housing? For my part, I would like to challenge the City Councilor Eunisses Hernández to focus their efforts on some of the most pressing problems that harm our city.

To the editor: 2028 will come and go and the city will not have reached beyond this. It is sad to see the reference points that our local politicians are putting for themselves. We do not need another two -year traffic study to understand the obvious: Traffic to Dodger Stadium is bad, anything that takes the cars out of the road. We cannot continue to maintain progress with endless studies and delays.
