To the editor: Underlying this article is the derogatory contempt of the Trump administration of overwhelming scientific evidence on climate change and its impact on our planet and our own health (“The Trump administration opens more land for coal mining, offers $ 625 million to boost coal plants.” September 29).
Near the end of the article, it is mentioned that the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, Lee Zeldin, said that he plans to retreat in 2009 finding that climate change harms human health and the environment. This is consistent with President Trump's ignorant pearrators about climate change, including The recent United Nations speech in which he called him “the best work of fraud ever perpetrated in the world.”
Climate change is (unfortunately) It is not a high priority problem With voters. But when unnecessary deaths and diseases caused by Trump's policies, especially those related to our health, become evident to all, science and truth should play a more important role in half of the peoples.

To the editor: Most Americans do not realize the cost of having chosen this particular federal government at this time in history.
An example to illustrate why: after Russia began to eliminate the elimination of fossil fuel exports to Europe at the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Germany was forced to accelerate massively Its expansion of solar energy, which has helped the country to meet their needs and compensate for costs. Due to the regulatory capture of public services, we would not expect to see something similar in the United States
Solar energy and wind have exceeded cost parity with fossil fuels and are cheaper in The vast majority of instances. Therefore, trying to revive coal as a source of energy is like buying a chicken to make an omelet. It makes no sense unless it has separated from all markets in the city and does not have other options.
