Woman issues important PSA for men who get down on one knee to propose

A proposal is supposed to be an event that couples will remember and talk about for the rest of their lives.

A woman named Jordan Hardman recently took to TikTok to share the one thing she thinks men shouldn't do in their own proposals. “I know this is a niche market, but if my man puts his mind to it and doesn't do it, I'll be mad. “I’m fucking angry,” her video began.

“And I've seen this, I look at it, I notice it,” he continued while building anticipation to show off the proposal tag that bothers him.

Hardman said that when he kneels to ask the question, some guys look like the “hunchback of Notre Dame.” She then demonstrates it by doing the act herself, showing poor posture and a hunched back.

The TikToker then showed off what she wanted, which was a straight back that could form a 90-degree angle when bending one knee.

After posting it, her video received over seven million views, with many people leaving comments about how they also find a hunched back during a proposal unpleasant.

“No, you are right about this. If she can't even handle the proposal, how is she going to stand firm in the marriage?,” one person wrote in the comments.

Another commenter agreed, writing: “That and resting your elbows on your leg like it's less than a minute.”

“Mine said he practiced A LOT before the proposal. 90 degrees and straight back. He did it very well,” wrote a third commenter, highlighting his own proposal.

Other commenters explained their own pet peeves in a proposal.

“Mine is when they knelt down and just smiled at you. No speech, no PROPOSAL, just a stare and an empty smile,” explained one commentator.

“I'm crying because this is so true,” another comment began. “Second problem: kneeling.”

Despite the many things that bother people about wedding proposals, not all of them go wrong.

Mia Amabile recently took to TikTok to share her “Roman Empire,” the internet trend where people share an event they can't stop thinking about. For her, it was the text message she received from her fiancé's father shortly after he proposed to her.

On her Instagram page, Amabile detailed the story of her proposal, which she considered “perfectly imperfect,” as they were traveling and her then-boyfriend said the hotel was offering them a private picnic.

When he was about to open the ring box to ask her the important question, it was empty, so he had to run back to his hotel room, grab another ring box and propose for the second time, to which Amabile accepted.

After the proposal, she received a touching text message from her fiancé Alex's father, Doug, showing his unwavering support.

Showing a screenshot of the message on her TikTok account, the text read: “My dear Mia, now that it's official, I wanted to take a moment to tell you directly and personally how happy we all are that you become an official member. from our family, and we from yours!”

“We loved you from the moment we met you and could always see that you and Alex were meant to be together forever!”

“The most important thing is that you clearly love each other unconditionally and care for each other, and that is by far the most important thing that ever matters!” he continued. “We are very much looking forward to all the incredible times we will have together.
