Winona Ryder says she's 'very lucky' to have a 14-year relationship with Scott Mackinlay Hahn

Winona Ryder has spoken glowingly about her decade-long relationship with partner Scott Mackinlay Hahn.

The 52-year-old actor spoke candidly about the long-term romance during an interview with Harper's Bazaarpublished on July 11. Speaking to the publication, she said how grateful she is to her partner, whom she has been dating since 2011.

“It's so cool. It really is. I'm so lucky,” he explained. According to Harper's BazaarThe couple often travels between their New York City apartment, which they rent, and the Los Angeles home they own. Although they eventually want to move, they haven't decided where yet. The publication also noted that they met in 2010 at the premiere of Ryder's film, Black Swan.

During the Harper's Bazaar In the interview, she also reflected on some of the diaries she kept throughout her thirties and explained how those writings showed she was going through a difficult time.

“You obviously write when you’re depressed or upset. I tend not to write when I’m really happy. I was going through that and I was like, ‘How?’ I was clearly trying to deal with…,” she said. “It was very sad. I was clearly trying to believe the best and be self-indulgent. But I was looking out for everything but myself.”
