Kate Middleton in a “very different” position to that of King Charles after cancer diagnosis

The Monarch, 75, returned to work last month, while Kate, 42, has not been seen in public since Christmas Day last year.

Now, a source close to the family has said he will not perform any unnecessary tasks while undergoing “preventive chemotherapy.”

“No one wants to put pressure on Catherine,” the source told the daily mail.

“The only thing that matters right now is that she gets better. This year she has gone through a tough test.

“In practice, this means that important decisions, such as the appointment of new staff, can wait.

“It is a reflection of His Royal Highness's importance to the future of the Monarchy that he has been given all the time he needs.”

They added: “As sovereign, Her Majesty is in a very different position to that of the Princess of Wales.

“You don't need to watch her while she recovers.”

Prince Harry's decision to reject King's royal invitation is considered 'extraordinary behaviour'

Prince Harry's alleged decision to reject King Charles' offer to stay at a royal residence during his trip to London has been described as “extraordinary behaviour”.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, opted to stay at a London hotel during a brief visit to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

This was reportedly due to Harry's continued security concerns, but Helena Chard, a British broadcaster and photographer, said that could not have been the case.

“He could have stayed at St James's Palace, a stone's throw from Clarence House, where the King usually resides,” he said. Fox News Digital.

“Harry refused to stay in a palace, where he would have received armed security protection from the SO14 Royalties Protection Group. He chose to stay in a Mayfair hotel without this protection.

“Not only would he have received armed security protection, but there is a much greater chance that he would have seen his father.”
