The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Baltimore Ravens in the first game of the NFL season on Thursday, September 5.

Since her relationship began, Taylor Swift has been appearing at boyfriend Travis Kelce's football games, either alongside her family or with other celebrities. With the start of the 2024-2025 football season just days away, fans are starting to wonder how many games the Grammy winner will attend this year.

Throughout the summer, the “Karma” singer has been performing on the European leg of her Eras Tour, which wrapped up at London's Wembley Stadium on Aug. 21. Her next show isn't scheduled until Oct. 18 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, where she'll play three shows. With this gap in her schedule, the singer is available to watch Kelce's first game.

The last time the “Speak Now” singer saw Kelce play was during the Super Bowl, when the Chiefs claimed their second straight win and their third in the past five years. Throughout the 2023-2024 football season, she attended a total of 13 football games.

The NFL appears to be gearing up for potential appearances by Swift at games, as she recently shared a promotional video on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a caption that read, “FOOTBALL IS BACK.” The video featured a montage of moments from the previous season divided by month.

In the second second of the clip, during September 2023, Swift is seen in the audience cheering on her boyfriend. In another moment from the September portion, the singer is shown again laughing alongside Travis' mother, Donna Kelce.

The “Cruel Summer” singer makes a third appearance in the video in January 2024, where she is seen walking to her seat dressed in a Chiefs-themed outfit. The singer appears a fourth time, also in January, as she kisses Travis to celebrate her team earning a spot in the Super Bowl.

The last time Swift appears is during the big game, where she is seen drinking from a swig on the giant screen. She appeared in the video a total of five times, more than any other player.

According to team quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Kelce, the singer has also made sure to understand how the game works by designing plays for the team.

“She's the most famous person in the world and she's really into football,” Mahomes said last week while speaking with NFL on NBC“He asked a lot of interesting questions. He is already preparing works, so maybe we should include one.”

Kelce ended up confirming the statement on The Rich Eisen Show“She’s been very open to learning the game; I didn’t know much about the rules and all that,” he said.

“I think what makes her so good at her profession is that she is very detail-oriented in every aspect, from the lyrics to the music, even the releases and music videos. She is so detail-oriented that I think she was just curious about the profession.”
