A woman is rethinking her decision after seeing how her husband looks with a shaved beard.
Sophie Clarke recently took to TikTok to show her husband before and after shaving his face. “POV: You begged your long-haired, bearded husband to shave for the first time in years and it was the worst idea known to man,” the text on her video screen read.
“How did your hairdresser allow this?” she questioned, showing how her husband looked clean-shaven but with hair that was still long enough to reach the center of his back when left completely down.
“A crime against humanity,” Clarke captioned her TikTok, further expressing how upset she was about the transformation.
After its release, Clarke's video received more than 38 million views and many people left comments comparing him to various characters.
“He went from Viking to Kate Moss,” one commenter joked, while another wrote, “He went from Thor to Steve Harrington.”
A third comment read: “Girl…it went from I'll chop the firewood to Can you open this jar of pickles for me?”
“He is by no means the same guy. Look at the shoulder difference! “You can’t convince me otherwise,” one person said.
Other commenters agreed with Clarke and thought he looked better with a beard than without.
“Paste it again omg,” one person wrote in the comments section.

This isn't the first time someone has gone viral on TikTok for deciding to shave their beard. Recently, Paige Robinson also took to TikTok to show her husband, Josh Davila, revealing her freshly shaved face to her four-year-old daughter, Wren, for the first time.
In her video, Wren sits on her bed holding an iPad while her father appears without his trademark beard and mustache. After getting over her initial shock, she asked him if she could kiss him and she even praised how soft her skin felt.
“It feels so soft,” he told her, and also noted that she looked “very different.”
Wren then made sure to let her father know that despite the change, he was “so beautiful,” which brought tears to his eyes. “You're going to make me cry,” he responded to his daughter.
After its release, the video received more than five million views, with many people taking to the comments to express how sweet and healthy the four-year-old's gesture was.

“I'm crying because they usually laugh at men when they shave. It's so common. This is so pure, she loves her dad, I bet she feels pretty now,” a second person wrote in the comments.
