Why Prince William and Kate were missing in Easter Sunday

The king and the queen attended the traditional service of Easter Sunday in Windsor Castle along with other members of the royal family, although the prince and the princess of Wales were remarkably absent.

Charles and Camilla smiled at the public members who waited for their arrival in the chapel of San Jorge, Windsor Castle.

The King and Queen joined the Royal Princess, the Duke and the Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke of York and other members of the Royal Family.

Camilla received flowers before she and Charles approached the members of the public and briefly greet some of them.

However, William and Kate decided not to join the reais for the traditional Easter Sunday, since they spend the weekend with their children in Norfolk.

Prince William told the king his intention to lose the service, “enjoy a long time as a family about Easter,” said a source The mirror.

“They are choosing to spend time together as a family before children return to school,” added the source.

The couple lost the annual service last year after Kate was diagnosed with cancer. It is now in remission and slowly returns to public tasks.

He attended the service on Sunday was the Duke and the Duchess of Edinburgh and his son James, the count of Wessex, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank and Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
