Earning up to Rs 50 lakh per ‘bigha’, cauliflower has emerged as a preferred cash crop for farmers in Farrukhabad, promising sustained profitability and growth opportunities in agriculture.

Cauliflower cultivation, which costs just Rs 2,000 per bigha, has become a staple for many farmers and brings in handsome profits. Rajpal, a veteran farmer from Malikpur village, has been cultivating cauliflower for decades without incurring any losses and has consistently earned profits of hundreds of thousands of rupees.

Investing in cauliflower has been a blessing, Rajpal said, stressing the crop's resilience. He has experience of over two decades, during which he has witnessed a consistent market demand for the vegetable.

The success of cauliflower farming lies in meticulous preparation and care, as Rajpal explained with his method, saying that after levelling the field and preparing the soil, he plants three cauliflower seedlings per metre.
