Assisted pull-ups can help you gradually build upper body strength.
Assisted pull-ups are a great exercise that can help you build strength gradually. This workout improves muscle endurance.
Zareen Khan often takes to her social media to share snippets of her intense workout sessions. The actress candidly shares her fitness journey with her fans and also motivates them to opt for a healthy lifestyle. Recently, she took to her Instagram to show how she started her weekend with an intense assisted pull-up workout. This workout significantly improves and strengthens the upper body.
Taking to her Instagram account, Zareen Khan shared a video of herself doing assisted pull-ups with her fitness instructor, Saif Qureshi. She wrote, “I did assisted pull-ups today… I’m feeling proud of myself because I could never do a pull-up and today I managed to do quite a few reps… It looks easy because of the resistance band but it’s definitely not. Thank you @saifffqureshiii_ for motivating me to do this!”
For the workout, Khan’s instructor had tied a band to the iron bar near the ceiling. Khan stood at the other end of the band. He grabbed the iron bar above his head and began to pull himself up. The first few reps showed him struggling to find his balance and strength, however, as he progressed, he found it easier. Throughout the workout, his fitness instructor closely monitored his form and the tension of the band.
The benefits of doing pull-ups are many. This exercise works the biceps, rhomboids, and trapezius muscles. It improves and strengthens the upper body. Assisted pull-ups are a great option for those who have just started their fitness journey. With assistance, one can slowly and gradually build strength and then move on to more intensive solo pull-ups. This exercise causes pain in the arms, but it also improves muscle endurance and targets multiple muscle groups.
