Taapsee Pannu, famous for her impressive string of hits, is all set to dazzle once again with the release of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba on August 9. Known for her unique style and versatility, Taapsee is making waves this month not just with her films but also with her fashion choices.
Currently in Paris, Taapsee is turning heads with her new take on the sari. Adopting a modern yet traditional style, she shows how the sari can be both stylish and comfortable. In collaboration with a leading fashion brand, Taapsee has curated a collection of saris that reflect her personal style.
She emphasises the versatility of the sari: “I realised that when we talk about comfortable fashion, why do we only talk about cotton dresses? Why is the sari not included in this type of comfortable clothing, when it is actually very comfortable? You just have to know how to layer it and be confident in it and be extremely comfortable. It is not even a specific size. It is not like you buy a dress that is a particular size and you have to make sure it fits you. The sari is a piece of fabric that can be adjusted to your size no matter what your size is and can be suitable for any occasion.”
Apart from Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Taapsee fans can look forward to Khel Khel Mein, also slated for an August release.
