The influencer's two-year-old son drowns in the hotel pool while his parents were taking a nap

An influencer's son drowned in a pool after wandering outside his parents' hotel room while they were napping.

In a series of posts on Instagram, Jasmine Yong revealed that during a Mother's Day hotel stay on May 11, her 2-year-old son Enzo drowned in the hotel's indoor pool while she and her husband They slept in the next room. . In the translated caption, she explained that the family had decided to relax for a moment. She wrote: “As always, [Enzo] “He snuggled up next to us and drank milk before falling asleep.”

However, when the couple woke up from their nap, Enzo was nowhere to be seen.

“When I woke up, I found that he was not next to me,” she wrote, writing that she felt something was wrong when she saw that “the originally closed door to the indoor pool had opened.”

When he entered the next room, he saw Enzo floating in the pool, unresponsive. They pulled him out of the water and attempted to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but it was unsuccessful. He added that they were unable to contact the hotel due to a “poor network connection”.

“We hurriedly ran to the hotel lobby with the baby in our arms and asked the hotel staff to help us call an ambulance and provide us with first aid until the ambulance arrived,” he continued. “Half an hour after being sent to the hospital to be rescued, the baby finally regained his heartbeat, but he was still in a coma.”

Unfortunately, it revealed that Enzo died from insufficient oxygen supply, which caused his heartbeat to stop. He concluded his post: “Our baby Enzo has become a happy little angel.”

“Thank you for everyone's prayers and blessings,” he added, pleading with his 472,000 followers not to “exaggerate, quote out of context, or make things up out of thin air.”

The somber caption accompanied a carousel of photos from what appeared to be a tribute to his late son, which included a video of guests releasing balloons into the sky, as well as photos of colorful drawings Enzo once made.

Yong began sharing the heartbreaking series of posts on May 16, when she told her followers that her son was “in the intensive care unit” without sharing any details of what happened to him. He asked his followers to send prayers for his son and wrote: “We need everyone's strength and blessings to pray for Enzo to wake up quickly and return home.”

She and her husband, fellow influencer Lim Kong Wang, used to post loving videos of sweet moments with her son and even had an account dedicated to him.
